Paragliding World Cup 2008 SHAMBHALA Bulgaria

In territory of Bulgaria it will be already the second Paragliding World Cup. The strongest pilots will take part in the competition from all over the World, including Canada, Japan, South Korea, the United States and Latin America.

For the first time in history of the World Cup for pilots free-of-charge accommodation at hotels, the cultural program and prize-winning fund 15 000 euros will be organized.

HOW TO GET THERE

By Plane:

If you are arriving at the Sofia Airport:

You can take a bus № 84 or № 284, change it at Bus stop “Hotel Pliska” with No 213,313,305,413 and go to the Central Railway Station or to the Central Bus Station. See the map: http://www.skgt-bg.com/index_en.htm

You could also take a taxi.

From the Central Railway station there are 2 possibilities:

1.      Take a train to Sopot or to Karlovo.

Karlovo is 5 km from Sopot. There are buses every 30 min from 6h15 until 20h45. During the weekend : every 1 hour.

2.      Or you can take a bus to Karlovo from the Central Bus station, which is on the front of the Central Railway Station: www.centralnaavtogara.bg

Arriving in Sofia: You follows signs Bourgas. You have to follow route No E79 . After 2 km turn right and follow route 6. Sopot is 134 km far from Sofia.
